Materials and Care

The inherent nature of metal causes silver and especially brass to develop a natural patina over time from exposure to oxygen and moisture from the skin. You can restore the luster on the surface using a treated polishing cloth. The main metals we use in our designs are sterling silver, jewelers brass and gold filled and gold plated material. Both gold fill and gold plate are 14k gold over brass but gold fill has a thicker layer of gold than gold plate. To preserve the look of the jewelry, keep it clean and dry, and avoid contact with any chemicals. Kaypea Jewelry is designed and handcrafted in Charleston, SC. Each piece is created using quality materials and there may be slight variations due to the handmade nature of the materials. Please allow up to 10 days for production of your piece before shipping.


Within the United States we offer flat rate shipping at $8.50 per order for USPS Priority Mail. We do ship worldwide! If your country is not registering as a country that we ship to please just send us an email at kaypeajewelry@gmail.com with your shipping address and we will be able to set up shipping to your location via our website.

Returns and Exchanges

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can send it back to us for an exchange or a refund within 10 days of receipt. Custom pieces are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange.  Please print our return form and fill it out and include it in your package, as well as your original receipt. For your protection, please pack your return item securely and return your order with an insured track-able courier and retain your receipt. Kaypea Jewelry is not responsible for items damaged or lost in transit. We cannot refund shipping charges on returned, exchanged or damaged items. We are unable to accept returns of worn or damaged items and reserve the sole right to determine if an item has been returned in it's original condition.

If you need to return or exchange an item, please contact us first at kaypeajewelry@gmail.com and we will send you a return/exchange form to fill out and include with your item.


We will repair items purchased within 30 days of purchase. Repairs required after 30 days of purchase will be reviewed on a case by case basis. Please note that Kaypea Jewelry is not responsible for shipping charges on repair items. Privacy Policy

We will not sell, share or trade any information you supply to us with a third party either from transactions on this website or signing up for our email list.
